AL-TAWHEED SERVICES
Al Tawheed Masjid offers Quran classes for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or gender, has the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Holy Quran. These classes are designed to cater to both beginners and those seeking advanced knowledge, with a focus on proper recitation (Tajweed), memorization (Hifz), and the meanings of the Quran. The mosque creates an inclusive and welcoming environment, where men, women, and children can learn at their own pace. With dedicated teachers and flexible schedules, Al Tawheed Masjid fosters a love for the Quran and empowers the community to strengthen their connection with their faith.
Al Tawheed Masjid provides a peaceful and respectful setting for both Nikkah and Aqeeqa ceremonies, offering an ideal location for families to celebrate these important life events in accordance with Islamic traditions. For Nikkah ceremonies, the mosque facilitates all aspects of the marriage process, from the formal contract to the witness statements, ensuring the event is conducted with the utmost respect for religious practices. The mosque also hosts Aqeeqa celebrations, where families can mark the birth of a child with a special ceremony that includes the offering of sacrifices, prayers, and blessings for the newborn. These occasions are held in a warm, welcoming environment, allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate, while also receiving guidance and support from the mosque’s staff. Whether for a wedding or the birth of a child, Al Tawheed Masjid provides a meaningful and spiritual setting for these significant milestones.
Al Tawheed Masjid is deeply committed to providing comprehensive Islamic education for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The mosque offers a range of educational programs designed to enhance understanding of Islamic teachings, including classes on Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), Aqeedah (Islamic theology), and Seerah (biography of the Prophet). These programs are taught by qualified instructors who are dedicated to nurturing a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, fostering both spiritual growth and personal development. The mosque also offers specialized courses for children, focusing on Quranic studies, moral values, and Arabic language skills. Al Tawheed Masjid strives to create an enriching learning environment, where community members can deepen their faith and build a strong connection with Islam.

HADITH OF THE WEEK
Abu Hurairaؓ reported that *Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “There is never a day wherein servants (of Allah) get up at morn, but are not visited by two angels; One of them says: ‘O Allah, give the one who spends (in the way of Allah) compensation.’ The other one says: ‘O Allah, give the one who withholds (from spending in the way of Allah) damage”
Sahih Muslim # 2336

UPCOMING EVENTS

DHUL QA`DAH & DHUL HIJJA
As we move from the blessed month of Shawwal through to Dhul-Hijjah, these sacred months offer us continued opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection.
Dhul-Qa’dah, one of the four sacred months in Islam, is a period of peace and preparation. Many in our congregation begin getting ready for Hajj, taking the time to learn, plan, and spiritually prepare for this life-changing journey.
As we enter Dhul-Hijjah, we are reminded of its great virtue. Whether performing Hajj or remaining at home, the first ten days of this month are among the most beloved to Allah. We encourage everyone to increase in acts of worship—fasting, prayer, charity, and remembrance of Allah. On the Day of Arafah, fasting is highly recommended, and we join together for Eid al-Adha, commemorating the faith and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) through the (Qurbani – Animal Slaughter) and communal prayer.
Let us all make the most of these blessed months and stay connected as a community through worship, reflection, and service.

SHAWAAL FASTING
Fasting the additional six days of Shawwal after the month of Ramadan holds great significance in Islam. According to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), fasting these six days, in addition to the obligatory fast of Ramadan, brings the reward of fasting for an entire year. These fasts can be observed at any time during the month of Shawwal, as long as they are completed within the month. The practice serves as a means of further spiritual purification, strengthening one’s devotion, and gaining closeness to Allah. It is a simple yet powerful way to continue the good habits developed during Ramadan and earn immense reward.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Volunteers from Al Tawheed Masjid will be organizing a local community street clean-up exercise to help improve the environment and foster a spirit of cooperation within the neighbourhood. On the scheduled day, volunteers will gather with cleaning supplies such as trash bags, gloves, and recycling bins to clear streets, parks, and public spaces of litter. This initiative aims not only to beautify the area but also to raise awareness about the importance of keeping the community clean and promoting environmental responsibility. By actively participating, the volunteers will demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact on the local environment and strengthening community bonds.
SUPPORT AL-TAHWEED
Al Tawheed Masjid has long served as a spiritual and community center, offering essential religious and educational services. With a growing congregation and expanding programs, the mosque now faces serious space limitations. Due to the constraints of the historic building, expansion isn’t possible—so we plan to build a much-needed outbuilding in the garden for prayer, classes, and community events.
To bring this vision to life, we seek your generous support. Your donation—big or small—will help create space for worship, learning, and togetherness, benefiting current and future generations. May Allah reward you for supporting the growth of Al Tawheed Masjid.
